Bodybuilding For Martial Arts

Good reason or not?
Okay i gave up gameing after 15 years of it. I gave up because i want to train as much as i can for phisical things like Martial arts, parkour, bodybuilding etc. So do you think this is a good choice?.
And ive found that after giving up games i was happier and not so bored and lazy. i also found out that gameing is just as bad as drugs. Heres proof http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8TIsRkoGlk&search=gameing%20addicts
If you cant see the qestion your stupid!. Im asking your opinion if i made the right choice leaving games
Well, the question of “good choice/bad choice” really depends on you. You obviously seem happier for having given it up so that would equal a “good choice” for you.
If it were me, I guess I would have a little more free time to do cleaning or watching TV or something
but I like the emotions, and the interactiveness of gaming. It’s like a TV show you’re actually a part of. It’s entertainment, my choice, yours can be different and more power to you.
I watched that vid on Youtube, ok, I don’t see why you think it’s as bad as drugs. Games are games. People who can’t control themselves already have problems that probably would have surfaced even if they had never touched a controller or keypad.
There was this program that aired on the Public Broadcasting Station. “The Video Game Revolution”, I’ve found you a link. Very informative, essays on studies done, histories of gaming, all kinds of stuff for gamers and parents and everyone in between. This is what I’d call proof, not just some kids putting together an anti-gaming video and posting it on the net. The “Eight Myths About Video Gaming Debunked” essay answers most of the accusations your Youtube vid made. Check it out.
